The inclusion, categorization, evidence, and update rules used for the GEO software directory.
What qualifies for the directory
An entry should support a defined GEO, AI visibility, citation, answer-engine, or closely adjacent workflow. Inclusion is based on category relevance and available evidence, not on a claim that every listed product is interchangeable.
- Name the primary workflow and user.
- Support capabilities with current product evidence.
- Keep adjacent SEO or analytics tools in clearly labeled categories.
Listing additions and updates
A proposed listing or update should include the product name, canonical website, relevant workflow, current documentation, and the exact directory statement that needs review. Submission does not guarantee inclusion or placement.
- Use canonical product URLs.
- Date plan, pricing, and availability evidence.
- Reject duplicate or purely promotional entries.
Corrections and catalog maintenance
Broken links, discontinued products, changed names, and materially incorrect capability descriptions should be corrected when verified. A factual correction is separate from a request for higher placement.
- Identify the directory URL and affected statement.
- Provide a primary source for the change.
- Retain clear category boundaries after an update.
